Sage men’s soccer remains in first place in Skyline with 4-1 win over NYU-Poly

Brooklyn, NY–The Sage College’s men’s soccer team traveled to NYU-Poly for a Skyline Conference match on Wednesday night. The Gators tallied a 4-1 win to improve to 7-5-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the conference. Sage has now won four games in a row and has racked up 19 points in conference play to sit atop the league in first place.
Freshman defender Kris Kallenbach (Bristol, CT/Bristol Central) tallied the first goal for the Gators as he converted the feed from rookie Chris Giustina (Enfield, CT/Enrico Fermi).
In the second half, freshman forward Scott Jarosz (Brunswick, ME/Brunswick) connected for all three goals, becoming the first player in program-history to tally a hat trick. With his performance, he overtakes Giustina in the scoring race as he has 14 points on seven goals. Giustina has 13 points on five goals and three assists.
