Sage College of Albany partnered with the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center for a peaceful rally, candlelight vigil and to march through a one mile stretch of Albany, in an effort to bring awareness to the programs available for victims of sexual assault.

Sage College of Albany hosted a remarkable event in recognition of the National Day of Silence, the largest student led, peaceful action in the country, which brings attention to the discrimination and bullying so many gay students are subjected to. Senator Neil Breslin spoke about same-sex marriage, anti-discrimination legislation and hate crime legislation.
