Listening to Divorce: Stories and Lessons at Bush Memorial
Susan Walzer, Ph.D. is associate professor of sociology at Skidmore College. A former mental health therapist and consultant, her research and teaching interests include close relationships, emotions, families, gender, social psychology as well as student and faculty cultures in higher education. She is author of the book “Thinking About the Baby: Gender and Transitions into Parenthood” and articles about family changes and interactions, most recently “Redoing Gender through Divorce” in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. The Hoffman Lecture in Sociology and Social Policy is sponsored by the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice. It has been endowed by a gift from Linda Rosenfeld Hoffman 62.
This lecture will be held at Bush Memorial on Monday, March 22nd at 7pm.
