President Susan Scrimshaw scheduled to appear on WAMC Northeast Public Radio Nov. 27

President Susan Scrimshaw is scheduled to appear with Dr. Alan Chartock for an in-depth interview on WAMC Northeast Public Radio’s the Speaker’s Corner on Friday, November 27, at 1:00 p.m. The interview can be heard on WAMC at 90.3 FM and 1400 AM. Listeners will also be able to download the interview at their convenience on line at: www.wamc.org.

Alan Chartock’s program, In Conversation with…Dr. Susan Scrimshaw, offers listeners a revealing glimpse into President Scrimshaw’s extraordinary path on the road to her present position as The Sage Colleges’ president.


This fascinating interview provides an intimate portrait of Dr. Scrimshaw’s life experiences as a young girl growing up in Guatemala and traces Dr. Scrimshaw’s personal and professional journey to The Sage Colleges. Dr. Scrimshaw shares some heart warming, life-shaping personal experiences as well as her views on her experiences and expectations as The Sage Colleges’ 9th president, and her hopes and vision for the future.
