Men’s Basketball Is Here!

As the fall seasons draw to an end, the winter season is beginning to get underway.

The women’s basketball team has been practicing to get ready for their season opener this Sunday at Hartwick College. The Gators are looking forward to a new season; they have brought in many new players, including both rookies and transfers. With this new talent and the willingness to excel by returners, the Gators are hoping to have a strong showing this year in conference play.

After a much anticipated pre-season, the men’s baketball team will take the court for the first time in school history* this Sunday. The Gators will play host to nearby rival, Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute, at the Albany campus’s Kahl Gymnasium.

Head Coach Brian Barnes has been waiting for this moment for over a year, and cannot wait to get his team on the court. His players have shown the same level of excitement, both on and off the court. They are looking forward to the school’s first-ever game this Sunday at 3pm.
